Unila FP THP Academics: Ir. Susilawati, M.S., Ir. Otik Nawansih, M.P., and Dr. Ir. Sussi Astuti, M.Si has been entrusted with becoming the administrator of LPPOM MUI Lampung 2016-2021. As quoted from the Tribun Lampung daily, the newly appointed Director of the LPPOM MUI Food, Drug and Cosmetic Study Institute, Dr. Ir. Yaktiworo Indriani, M.Sc who is also a Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Unila, is determined to carry out his duties professionally.

"Even though this is hard, it's a noble task, and is a social work, but it must be done professionally," he explained during the Inauguration of LPPOM MUI Lampung Management at the Haji Lungsir Dormitory Hall, Friday (14/10/2016).
Apart from the inauguration, MUI also held a Halal Assurance System Auditor Training.
The head of the event committee, Maskut Candranegara said that the training was part of strengthening the abilities of the new administrators.
"Therefore, LPPOM MUI Lampung must first strengthen the management and training of auditors, in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Guarantees for Halal Products," he said.
