The Student Association of the Department of Agricultural Product Technology will hold a Student Creation Contest (LKS) for High School Equivalents in Lampung with the theme "Creativity and Innovation in Food Products for the Nation's Children". This activity will be held on Sunday, March 10 2013. The plan is to took place starting at 08.30 WIB, taking place in the Hall of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Parking Lot of the Department of Agricultural Product Technology (THP) Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung (FP Unila).

The series of LKS events included two competition activities, namely the Processed Product Innovation Contest (LIPO) and Wall Magazines (Mading) with registration of IDR 50,000/work for LIPO and IDR 50,000/team for the Magazine competition respectively.
The Processed Product Innovation Contest is a competition held to hone the creativity of high school students of the same level in the field of food. In this competition students make a food product with a touch of innovation.
This food innovation can be in the form of adding raw materials or additives, modifying, or recycling of pre-existing products. Innovation can also be a product that has never existed before. Creativity and innovation ideas can be expressed through making papers that are adapted to the format determined by the committee.
The preparation of food product innovation papers is carried out in groups with three group members. Each group can submit papers with a maximum of 2 works before the registration closing date of 15 February 2013. After that, a selection stage is carried out and three winning teams are chosen.
Furthermore, there are also Mading competition activities. This is a competition held to hone the creativity of senior high school students in journalism. Each school can send delegations of a maximum of two teams of four people/team.
The theme for the Mading competition is “Indonesian Food”. The Mading competition is limited to 20 teams. The winner is determined by the jury. Later, 3 winners will be chosen.
